COMMON
QUESTIONS
Q: Can you remove objects, scratches or a
background from a photo?
A: Yes.
However, depending on complexity, there may be an
additional charge. For more information
please contact us with
your desired
editing with photo before placing
order.
Q: Can you "crop" the photo to bring the
featured object or person
closer?
A: Yes. There
is no additional charge for this. Another option is to
crop the image in a photo and add feathered edges, it
tends to add something "more".
Q: How long does
the process take?
A: If you are
visiting our store, the engraving can be done while
you shop. Normal photo engraving takes, on average, 30
minutes (this can vary depending on complexity). If
you are ordering directly from our website, we send
all orders within three days of payment confirmation
and ship most everything USPS Priority. Orders are
generally received by our customers within the
week.
Q: Do you engrave items not purchased at
your store?
A: Yes. We can
engrave items not purchased from us. Please contact
us for a
quote as unique items are quoted on a per-project
basis.
Q: How large can
you engrave?
A: 18"x24" with
an 11" thickness. We do not engrave directly on items
that are over 25 lbs.
Q: I don't see what I'm looking for on your
website. Do you have any other
products?
A: Yes. Because
we sell so many different items, we are unable to show
everything on our web site. Please call us at (417)
334-9668 or e-mail us at
orders@enchantedmemoriesbranson.com - our friendly
staff can help you find what you are looking
for.
Q: You mention Laser and Rotary
Engraving, what is the
difference?
A: Part One
- Laser
Engravingis the
technology of engraving using a laser beam. It
permanently engraves on materials such as Acrylic,
Aluminum, Ceramics, Chrome, Copper, Glass, Hard
Plastics, Leather, Marble, Pewter, Rubber, Stainless
Steel, Wood and many others. All of these materials,
with the exception of the metals, can (depending on
thickness) be cut as well.
A: Part Two -
Rotary Engraving is done using a Diamond Drag and
literally cuts/scratches into the material. Brass,
Silver, Gold, Pewter and some Stainless Steel are a
few examples of materials engraved using a Rotary
Engraver.
Q: How do I send my photo or
logo?
A: Via "snail
mail" - Remember that your photo will not be harmed in
any way. We return your original photo to you as we
received it. Via email - please send file as a high
resolution (300dpi works fine) .jpg or .bmp. Should
you have additional questions please feel free to
contact us. We also accept 3.5 Floppy Disk and
CD ROM.
Q: How do I send my text
files?
A: You may
either type your text in an e-mail or attach a Adobe
Photoshop, Corel Draw or Notepad file.
